Get ready, because we’re building A Playground for Your Mind™. Giant LCD screens, heart-pounding speakers, bursting confetti cannons! It’s all happening at the Children's Museum of Houston Expansion Grand Opening on March 14, 2009!
This exhilarating, all-day celebration will be jam-packed with interactive, audiovisual experiences like no other! With fast-paced time lapse reels, live feeds from the audience, and periodic pre-recorded videos running, we will unveil seven, new state-of-the-art exhibits. Dozens of talented entertainers will enliven our carnival-style street fest happening outside the Museum’s new steps. Join us for a historic day, which culminates in the Museum doubling in size to an astounding 90,000 sq. feet!
The event will be open to the public with free admission courtesy of Target.
