Houston Rockets Teacher of the Game
The Houston Rockets and Devon Energy acknowledge that America’s future depends on teachers educating our children, and applaud the exceptional teachers in the Houston area. These teachers are at the foundation of educational excellence.
The Devon Energy Teacher of the Game will recognize exemplary PreK-12th grade teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty, as well as inspire their students to succeed in life and in school.
What Will Teachers Win?
Ten (10) outstanding Houston area teachers will win the Teacher of the Game award. They will receive:
Eligible Teachers:
Pre-K — 12th Grade Teachers may be nominated
Who may submit a nomination?
Principals, teachers, administrators, school faculty, PTA/PTO members and other educational advocates are encouraged to nominate teachers deserving of public recognition who inspire their students to succeed.
How to Participate:
Complete the nomination form and entry essay for an outstanding teacher.
Deadline:
Tell us about an outstanding teacher you know! Accepting nomination forms NOW until February 13, 2009.
