Mothers for Clean Air Earth Day 5k 2009

5k will be held at Discovery Green, in Downtown Houston.

The fourth annual Mothers for Clean Air Earth Day 5k will be held at Discovery Green, in Downtown Houston. This year, the Earth Day 5k will kick-off Earth Day Houston, a new, all-day Earth Day celebration at Discovery Green.

Overall Masters and Open, M/F winners will receive prizes from Luke’s Locker and the top three finishers in five-year age groups will receive special “green” awards from Treesearch Farms. There will also be awards for the largest team, fastest team and greenest team.

There will be a 5k race, 5k walk and Kids K. USATF certification pending for the 5k.

Registration Fees and Entry Deadlines
5K
By April 4th - $17; By April 10th - $20; Race Day - $25

Kids Run
By April 4th - $10; By April 10th - $10; Race Day - $10

Team members receive a $2 discount per entry. Teams must have a minimum of three members.
