The natl weather svc in League City has issued a

* severe thunderstorm warning for. N. Fort Bend County in SE TX. Western Harris County in SE TX.

* Until 345 pm cdt

* At 250 pm cdt.natl weather svc doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing penny size hail. this storm was located near Jersey Village. moving so. at 11 mph.

* locations in the severe thunderstorm warning include but are not limited to the Galleria, West University Place, Spring Valley.
Southside Place, Piney Point Village, Hunters Creek Village, Hedwig Village, Bunker Hill Village & Bellaire.

Strong winds may knock down trees & power lines or damage buildings. take cover now!
